Instructional Books

The Instructional Book utilizes the currently released TAKS test questions as sample questions to teach the strategies and thinking process needed to solve problems on the test. The problems presented in the Instructional Book are representative of the TAKS testing format, depth and complexity.

The test questions are intended to be displayed and modeled by the teacher in front of the class. Students see the teacher-modeled analytical thinking and incorporation of math concepts to mathematically think through a problem.

This visual and verbal experience gives the students the processes necessary to work future mathematical problems.
